We will be helping PrintIT! develop new online career tools for young people to learn about apprenticeships and career routes in print, paper and packaging, a vital resource for the programme. We aim to show young people the many facets of the industry and the careers available that they may have not thought was there, helping the industry to reach even more students across the UK.
As part of our sponsorship we are also offering any company that comes on board as a sponsor for the programme a Website Audit! Proskills state that they are thrilled that we are facilitating the industry to grow by connecting companies together in this fashion.
Paul Warren, Visix’s Founder & MD, said:
“We are delighted to be supporting PrintIT and Proskills, as on two levels this fits perfectly within our vision and ethics as a business. Firstly we strongly believe generally speaking the printing industry’s website and brand communication is in need of vast improvement to keep up with the younger people buying and using print today.
Secondly we are passionate about doing what we can to bring young people into the industry. Print is becoming de-skilled and apprenticeships is the perfect way to inject new life into the sector, so we support everything that PrintIT! stands for. We ourselves employ a number of Apprentices and will continue to do so, hopefully to set an example.”

“We are delighted to have a company like Visix is on board! Their work is outstanding and vital for the industry to connect with the digital world. We are looking forward to working with them on developing new tools for the young people who take part in our programme, showing them that there so many wonderful career opportunities in this industry.
Without companies like Visix we wouldn’t be able to reach the many young people who need our advice and guidance on apprenticeships and careers in print, paper and packaging.”
